Sunday, October 17: Forum Begins

Afternoon

  • Begin optional facilitated interactive activities:
    1. Participate in creating a nature-themed mosaic
    2. Create your own environmental art with natural materials
    3. Tours of the Nature Explore Classrooms at Arbor Day Farm

Evening:

  • 6:00 pm - Opening Ceremonies
  • Dinner buffet - featuring international foods
  • Later evening concert



Monday, October 18

Morning:

  • 9:00 am - Welcome and overview of the day
  • Presentations/celebrations of successful projects from around the world
  • Lunch at Steinhart Lodge - A celebration of fresh foods from Arbor Day Farm at a rustic lodge a short walk from Lied Lodge and Conference Center

Afternoon:

  • Presentations by leaders from World Forum Foundation Working Groups focused on a variety of topics (Presentations are designed to provide ideas and assistance for Forum attendees as they plan their projects)
  • Group discussions (Groups with similar project themes will have time to meet and discuss together.)

Evening:

  • Sit down dinner
  • Later evening drumming performance



Tuesday, October 19

Morning:

  • 9:00 am Facilitated discussions for group's primary strategy
  • Final presentations from World Forum Foundation Working Group leaders
  • Lunch: Outdoor picnic

Afternoon:

  • Continue group discussions. Teams will gain ideas and tools for implementing their own action plans.

Evening:

  • Barbecue at the barns
  • Later evening interactive performance



Wednesday, October 20

Morning:

  • 9:00 am - Individual teams meet to further develop their plans assisted by members of NACC Leadership Team
  • Groups give short presentations of their plans
  • Closing ceremonies
  • 12:00 pm - Lunch
