Purpose / Intended Audience

What is the purpose of the World Forum?

The purpose of the World Forum on Early Care and Education is to promote an ongoing global exchange of ideas on the delivery of quality services for young children in diverse settings. We have two goals for delegates: first, that they acquire a wealth of new ideas and new perspectives to enrich their work; and second, that they develop meaningful relationships that continue into the future with their peers from other nations.

Who attends the World Forum?

The first six World Forums attracted a very broad audience of early childhood professionals from around the world representing all sectors of early care and education. The primary audience of the World Forum is early childhood professionals working in organizations or settings where services are delivered to young children and their families. Early childhood trainers, consultants, advocates, researchers, and public officials also have found the World Forum to be a valuable experience.

  • You will be inspired by numerous early childhood success stories from diverse settings around the world.
  • You will establish meaningful, ongoing relationships with your peers from 80 nations.
