During this session digital video clips from eleven countries will be presented
so we can reflect on the central question:
What can learn about each other by observing our children at play.
The twelve panel members will discuss the relative merits of looking at particular
variables, such as the role of music/movement in play, the use of replica toys
in play, the pretend themes of play, the presence of ritualized scripts in play,
and typical groupings when children play. Questions from the audience will be
encouraged.
