Nazarkhudo Dastambuev
Nazarkhudo Dastambuev is Past-President of the International Step by Step Association's Board. I graduated from Khorog State University, Tajikistan, with a speciality in Oriental Languages (Persian, Dari and Arabic) in 1997. I spent four years teaching philosophy and logic at the mentioned university, joining Khorog English Program in 2000; shortly thereafter, I joined the Aga Khan Humanities Project, working on its Schools Project. Through this project we introduced new methods of teaching and later curriculum development into the education system in Tajikistan. In 2001, I attended a course at the University of London, Institute of Education, on curriculum design, develoipment and evaluation; 2005 found meself at Teachers College, Columbia University, recieving training in international education development. I have been working with Open Society Institute Tajikistan as the Step by Step Program Director since March 2003.
