How to Participate in NACC
Anyone who is interested in re-connecting young children with nature can become
a member of the Nature Action Collaborative for Children. It's free! As a member you will have the
following benefits and responsibilities in the coming months:
Immediately...
- You will be given advance notification of the upcoming Working Forum on Nature Education. The last Forum sold out two months in advance,
so you will want to take advantage of this advance notice.
- You will receive ExchangeEveryDay, a daily newsbrief with
stories of interest to those working with young children, including announcements
of upcoming World Forum Foundation events.
By Summer 2008...
- You will receive our monthly e-newsletter, NACC News, with insights
on nature education and updates on events and resources.
- You will be invited to tell your story...
- To share your nature success stories
- To contribute to our online directory of nature resources
- To post information about events of interest to other NACC members
- You will be able to download, at no cost, PowerPoint files, handouts, and posters.
When you sign up for your free NACC membership, you will be sent an email with
your Certificate of Membership as well as a NACC Donations Form which you can use,
if you so desire, to make a tax deductible donation to the Nature Action Collaborative
for Children. When all the NACC membership benefits are ready to go you will be sent
another email with your password to the "NACC Members Only"
section of the World Forum web site.
