Gillian McAuliffe

Gillian McAuliffe is the founding CEO and Principal of Bold Park Community School in Perth Western, Australia. With over 20 year experience in education she has devoted the last ten years to developing an educational experience for children which values the child as a powerful contributor to their own learning and engages the environment to support the child in their learning journey.

Bold Park Community School has set up a creative reuse centre, which encourages the development of attitudes, and values, which will preserve our finite natural resources. The school has a focus of sustainable nature based and place based education. Through workshops and conferences the school engages the wider community in a dialogue which emphasises the importance of listening to children and connecting young children to their local environment.
