Global Leaders 2009 - 2010 
At the 2009 World Forum on Early Care and Education, emerging leaders from 13 nations joined 630 delegates from 76 countries as fellows of Global Leaders for Young Children. Twenty-three Global Leaders presented on the state of early care and education in their home countries, planned initial stages of their policy-oriented advocacy projects and attended a private reception with Mary McAleese, President of Ireland. Fellows, now back in their home countries, will be provided a grant to launch a leadership or advocacy project, based on their learning and support at the World Forum.
